Bitumen emulsion-RS 2 (RAPID SETTING) is a fast-setting bitumen emulsion used for road construction and repair. It is a cold-mix material that can be applied at ambient temperatures without heating. The emulsion is composed of bitumen, water, and an emulsifying agent that keeps the bitumen and water uniformly mixed. Bitumen emulsion-RS 2 has excellent adhesion to most surfaces, including concrete, and can be used to patch potholes, fill cracks, and surface-dress roads. It sets quickly, allowing for traffic to resume shortly after application.
